ResourceGrid

Idle assets, turned into a marketplace.

Corporates, institutions, and government organizations own labs, vehicles, equipment, and spaces that sit unused outside core hours. ResourceGrid lets them list it — and lets verified renters discover, book, and pay for it.

How it works

Two sides, one marketplace.

Providers

  1. List an asset with category-specific details — pricing, availability, condition
  2. Get verified and receive a trust badge renters can see
  3. Manage bookings and staff access from one dashboard
  4. Get paid automatically through the platform’s split-payment system

Renters

  1. Search and discover assets across every listed organization
  2. Review availability, pricing, and verification status
  3. Request or book directly, with payment handled on-platform
  4. Rate the experience once the booking is complete
Who can rent

Individuals, businesses, and verified nonprofits — provider's choice, per listing.

ResourceGrid isn't business-to-business only. Verified individuals can rent right alongside registered businesses and nonprofits — but which of those a specific listing accepts is set by the provider who owns it, not a blanket platform rule. A provider renting out a lecture hall might welcome anyone verified; a provider renting out a piece of industrial equipment might require a registered business. Either way, verification depth never changes based on that choice — an individual renter goes through the same real identity check a business or NGO does.

Verified individuals

Government photo ID, address proof, and phone verification. Accepted by default on lower-risk categories — auditoriums, event spaces, most vehicles, sports grounds, IT hardware — where a provider hasn't set a stricter default.

Verified businesses

Government registration number checked against the relevant country's registry, business email domain verification, registration certificate and authorized-signatory ID. The default (and sometimes required) renter type for higher-liability categories — labs, medical devices, industrial equipment.

Verified NGOs

Nonprofit/charity registration checked against the relevant country's registry where one exists, plus the same document-and-signatory checks as a business — never a lighter bar, since free or discounted access is a real fraud incentive. A provider can choose to offer a listing to verified NGOs for free or at a discount.

A small number of categories may carry a hard, non-overridable restriction on who can rent them, where a real regulatory reason exists — that's decided case by case, not assumed, and would apply regardless of what any individual provider wants. Everything else is the provider's own call, with sensible category defaults so nobody has to think it through unprompted. Why we verify this way →

What it handles for you

Built for any organization.

Multi-vertical categories

Labs, auditoriums, vehicles, industrial equipment, event spaces, golf courses, libraries, malls — one platform, every category, and the list isn’t fixed.

Verified listings

A paid verification badge gives renters a clear, trusted signal before they book.

Category-driven fields

Every category asks for what actually matters — a lab lists safety equipment, a vehicle lists capacity.

Split payments, no fund custody

Every transaction runs through a licensed processor. The platform never holds funds.

AI assistance

AI that assists, never decides.

Providers

  1. Describe an asset in your own words and get a structured listing draft back — you review and confirm before anything saves.
  2. A suggested individual/business/NGO renter default for your category, which you confirm or override — never a restriction imposed on you.
  3. Photo review flags a likely category mismatch or low-quality upload for a human to check, not to auto-reject.
  4. A comparable-listing price suggestion, and a one-click “improve my description” pass.

Renters

  1. Search in plain language — “a quiet lab for 15 people this weekend” — instead of only category and price filters.
  2. A one-line explanation of why a result matched, generated from the listings actually returned.
  3. Summarized reviews and side-by-side comparison across a shortlist.
  4. Plain keyword and filter search always still works if an AI feature errors or times out.
